Who would have guessed a trilogy based on a Disney theme park ride would be so entertaining? The series has grossed $2.68 billion worldwide. Johnny Depp‘s infectious portrayal of Captain Jack Sparrow, the main protagonist of the series. Depp acknowledged that his characterization was inspired by Keith Richards, the guitarist of the Rolling Stones. The transfers of these three blockbusters is simply astonishing. I currently use this Blu-ray collection to impress friends with the capabilities of my home theater. The set includes several extras and deleted scenes.
