Amazon is offering an HP Pavilion Desktop PC for $578.99 (reg. $840.00). The media center PC has become more accessible than ever to consumers. The specs are pretty impressive for a $578.99 entertainment hub: 2.2 GHz AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+ dual-core processor, 320 GB hard drive, 1 GB installed RAM, multi-format/dual-layer LightScribe DVD drive, and Nvidia GeForce 6150LE with 128 MB. The HP desktop comes with Vista Premium.
