Grand Theft Auto IV, the most anticipated game of 2008, hit the PS3 and Xbox players like an atomic bomb. Rockstar upped the ante by recreating a virtual NYC with a GTA twist. The single player campaign put the player in control of Niko Bellic, an off-the-boat Serbian immigrant searching for the American dream. The open ended gameplay, revamped arsenal of guns, and updated automobiles bring a well needed face lift to the classic. The multiplayer also adds to the replay value of the game.
