Esprit was created for free-spirited, real people. The company is deeply rooted in the flower power movement. In the mid-60s California, Susie Russel picked up a hitchhicker, Douglas Tompkins. Russel and Tompkins later married and began selling their clothing line from a VW bus. The legendary logo was created by John Casado. Today, Esprit Women’s line includes dresses, jeans, pants, shirts, polos, blouses, shorts, skirts, sweaters, swimwear, tees, jackets, and vests.
