Happy New Year! You can start the year on the right track with a Moleskine planner. You can finally be more organized. Amazon has reduced the prices across the board on the whole line of Moleskines: daily, weekly, monthly, soft, hard, black, red, pocket-sized, and over-sized.
Moleskine books gained popularity in the 19th century. These small handmade notebooks became a staple of avant-garde artists who sketched, painted and recorded their ideas and their daily realities. Prominent artists include Pablo Picasso, Ernest Hemingway, Henri Matisse, and Oscar Wilde. The present day Molskine is designed specifically to Bruce Chatwin’s descriptions of the notebooks. In 1986, the small family-run firm in Tours that produced the notebooks had closed its doors. In 1997, Modo & Modo Spa brought the classic notebook back to book stores. By 2006, the company had to expand to meed the insatiable demand.
