The 82nd Academy Awards are fast approaching. Every year, I have made it a ritual to watch all the films nominated in the Best Picture category. This year members voted to expand the selection to ten films. The 2010 Oscars Best Picture nominees are: Avatar, The Blind Side, District 9, An Education, The Hurt Locker, Inglourious Basterds, Precious: Based on the Novel ‘Push’ by Sapphire, A Serious Man, and Up. This year’s ceremony is shaping up to be legendary with actors Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin hosting. The event wil be held on Sunday, March 7, 2010, at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood.
